Cross-country skiing
Cross-country skiers will find over 60 km of trails here, with everything from beginners to professionals. Thanks to the snow depot, a large part of the Grenzlandloipe is secured in winter. The Grenzlandloipe stretches from Kartitsch to Maria Luggau.
The cross-country skiing experience starts with the entrance only a few metres away. To give you a good overview of the cross-country skiing system, we have an information corner with cross-country skiing maps and suitable books right here.

Do you still need the right equipment for cross-country skiing? Sport Schett in Kartitsch offers ski rental with advice.
If your cross-country route does not start directly in front of the house, there is the possibility to reach your starting point with a free ski bus.
Cross-country skiing tickets can be bought at our reception (daily and weekly tickets).
To learn or even improve cross-country skiing, there is a ski school in the neighbouring village of Obertilliach, right next to the biathlon and cross-country centre. The Sport Auer ski school will take care of your needs.

Tip: The Dorfberg high-altitude trail offers a cross-country skiing experience with a beautiful view of the valley.
