Our history
The Apartmenthouse Bergkristall has been run as a family business for 50 years. In 1965, grandparents Alois and Maria Geiler laid the foundation stone with the rental of comfort rooms. Since the grandson Anton Kofler Jr. took over in 2019, work has been carried out on the renovation with the help of a new concept. This has revitalised the tradition of the hotel.
Work is progressing at full speed! The cellar is gradually being modernised. You can look forward to something special: a ski and bike cellar.
The other rooms are also being renovated step by step: a modern laundry room with washing machine, a functional fitness room and a room where skis can be waxed await you.
It is done. On 31 December 2023, we welcomed our first guests full of anticipation.
It's finally getting underway: many hardworking hands have broken through walls and disposed of furniture - the conversion is in full swing.
The tradition can live on and the character of the house blossoms in new splendour.

One house - six holiday flats - lots of feel-good moments.
With the handover to Anton Kofler jun., a new chapter is opened for the Apartmenthouse Bergkristall.
To extend the feel-good character, a small wellness area is being built. Sauna, solarium and wellness shower invite the guest to relax. However, this is currently closed.
The rental of 18 comfort rooms starts under the name Bergkristall - a new way to spend your holiday. Shower and WC are located directly in the room. More privacy and personal development thus come to the fore.
Grandparents Alois and Maria Geiler decide to build a flat house in Kartitsch.
